"From Bits to Atoms" by Fundación Telefónica

Lanas Rubí participated with its material in the exhibition "From bit to atom" belonging to the exhibition project of Fundación Telefónica 3D_PRINTING THE WORLD, whose authors were Carmen Baselga and Hector Serrano.

Lanas Rubí has been very present in an exhibition that shows the revolution of technology in society. Through various objects and audiovisual pieces, the exhibition demonstrates its impact on disciplines as varied as medicine, fashion, gastronomy or architecture and raises the challenges of 3D printing in the medium and long term. The exhibition includes, among other pieces, "Project EGG", the first collaborative work of art made with home 3D printers; the first fashion collection manufactured with this technology or bionic components for airplanes that lighten weight and facilitate production.
