Everybody knitting together
If there's one thing we love at Rubí, it's celebrating every day that has to do with our passion.
And, of course, on June 12, World Wide Knit in Public Day, we wanted to be in our favorite places: haberdasheries.
To celebrate this special date, many of them have organized gatherings, activities, product tastings, workshops, and even raffles, so you can participate and have a great time. And while you're at it, maybe even take a little gift home.

Coser y Cantar Haberdashery (Estepa, Seville)
Workshop to knit the Own Style Diy granny multi-purpose scarf and product tasting in the afternoon.
They'll be waiting for you on June 12 from 12:00 PM!
El Carrete (Granada)
Free workshops and raffles! If you are in or from Granada on June 11, come and don't miss them. They are from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
Ola Lá (Malaga)
Together with Hebrayte, they will organize a floral Yarnbombing on June 11 in the park next to their store. They will knit crochet flowers that they will place on the lawn at the end of the morning. And if that wasn't enough, there will also be a raffle among participants and product tasting!
Fali Durán (Huelva)
On June 9 from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM in Plaza de la Merced, Anumayores and Trapos con otro punto are organizing a day of coexistence with seniors to celebrate World Wide Knit in Public Day.
Silvia Conejo, Own Style DIY (Malaga)
The meeting point will be Malagueta beach (opposite Antonio Martín), on Saturday 11 from 10:30 AM to knit together. There will also be raffles!
Knitting Sheep (Valencia)
They will celebrate their 3rd Edition of World Wide Knit in Public Day in the Plaza Mayor de Torrent, on Saturday 11 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
They have invited two stars of the craft world for the occasion: designer Laura Algarra and Olivia López from Needle Box. Laura will give a talk, explaining the creation process of knitting accessories, from design, pattern making, and execution of a garment. Olivia will give a presentation on the punch needle technique with a tasting for attendees. In addition, there will be free workshops and raffles at the end of the day.
María José Barrachina, Puntadicas (Andorra, Teruel)
On June 21 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Puntadicas, specifically at Avenida San Jorge, 41 in Andorra (Teruel), nature-related pieces will be knitted. You will only need to bring your needles. In addition, there will also be a raffle.
Lanas Palona (Malaga)
On June 11, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, specifically at the Pablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Center in Torremolinos (Malaga). Organized by the Culture Department of the City Council through the Popular University of Artistic Textiles workshop.
There you will find a product tasting and, in addition, some surprise raffles.
