Rubí Yarns at the Handmade Festival Barcelona
This was the 7th edition of the Barcelona Handmade Festival!
On November 12, 13, and 14, Barcelona hosted the 7th edition of the Handmade Festival, a benchmark event in the 'Do It Yourself' sector where creators, innovators, instructors, and exhibitors from all over the world and from all disciplines gather annually to share their passion, build community, discover new techniques and materials, and learn about original projects and the latest news.
At Lanas Rubí, we wouldn't miss it. Our Knitter Pro Own Style DIY led us by the hand with 4 fantastic workshops, and what workshops they were! Attendees learned to knit a turban headband, a Christmas gingerbread cookie, granny mittens, and the beautiful Alaska Bag, one of Own Style DIY's meetings this season that arrived at the festival with prizes and surprises.
In addition to receiving a small gift courtesy of Lanas Rubí, participants had the opportunity to win the Kit&Chic of the elegant Plaid Toscana, the designer's second meeting. How? Through our "Pull the thread" challenge, where we invited them to share their photos from the Lanas Rubí workshops at the festival. Here are some of the entries!
