MATERIALS

To make the crochet lamp ornament, we will use Rubí Natural color 003 (5 balls); a size 3 crochet hook; and a tapestry needle.

PATTERN:

Squares with a flower

Make a magic circle with 16 double crochet stitches and close with a slip stitch. The next step is 8 loops of 4 chain stitches, skipping one double crochet stitch from the previous round.

The next row consists of another 8 loops, but these will be 6 chain stitches long, attaching them in the center of the previous loops, and then making a round of slip stitches around all of them.

The next row is the same as the previous one, but the loops are 8 chain stitches long. We also make a round of slip stitches.

Continue with 5 consecutive rows of slip stitches and create 4 corners by making 4 chain stitches in the air and repeating them in the 5 rows as shown in the photo above. This will give us the squares that we will later join diagonally.

Lace triangles

To make the triangles that join each square, we will work as follows:

Make 37 chain stitches and on them make rows of 4 chain stitches, inserting the hook every 3 chain stitches of the first 37.

All subsequent rows are done the same, but we decrease one pass at the beginning and end of each row. This will create a point.

We will sew this to the squares as shown in the photo.

At the top, make 5 rows of slip stitches and 1 row of lace stitches, which is made with 1 double crochet stitch. This is repeated in 4 groups.

Pendants

We will use 32 Styrofoam eggs, which we will cover with the same Rubí Natural cotton in slip stitch.

Then, we will make 30 strips of 23 chain stitches (9 cm) to join the already covered eggs.
