Girls' knitted bikini

To make the knitted girl's bikini, we will use Rubí Campiña colors 020 and 391 (1 skein of each color); knitting needles size 3; crochet hook size 2; elastic and a tapestry needle. Choose your favorite colors in our online store.

Top

Cast on 80 sts. The first 2 rows are in garter stitch, then 8 rows in stockinette stitch, except for the first 4 sts and the last 4 sts, which will always be in garter stitch. Where the garter stitch and stockinette stitch meet, decrease 1 st on each row and on each side. At 13 cm from the beginning, decrease 10 sts evenly distributed in one row. Work 2 rows of garter stitch and cast off all sts. At each end, make a chain to tie. Make 2 more chains for the back closure.

Briefs Cast on 64 sts in stockinette stitch. Work 3 cm. Now, on the wrong side of the work, work 1 row in knit stitch. Continue with stockinette stitch and after 5 rows, repeat the previous operation (on the wrong side, work 1 knit row). This is done so that later, on that wrong side row, we can pick up sts to make 2 ruffles. Continue with the briefs, making 4 garter stitches on the sides, and before them, decrease 1 st on each side and on all rows until you have a width of 8 cm. Continue these until a length of 3 cm, then start increasing the same way you decreased (on all rows, 1 st on each side).

The upper part is made the same as the back and to the same length. To make the ruffles, first make one side and then the other. On the right side of the work and on the wrong side rows that we made at the beginning, insert the needle, picking up 1 st from each wrong side st. The distribution for the ruffle is as follows: 6 knit sts, yarn over, 2 knit sts, yarn over, 6 knit sts and so on until the end. The next row (wrong side of the work) is all purl.

To give the ruffle a lot of fullness, the yarn will be brought over before and after the previous one. This is only done for 3 rows. Then cast off the sts. Sew the sides and the top of the girl's bikini to insert the elastic. Make 2 crochet flowers and place them in the corner as shown in the photo.
