Baby diaper cover

Baby Diaper Cover

The diaper cover or baby bloomer is a garment that can be used by both girls and boys. It is a basic piece of children's fashion that allows our baby to be coordinated with the rest of their clothes, without the diaper being visible.

Our knitted diaper cover is designed with the softness and delicacy of your baby's skin in mind. It is a practical and comfortable accessory that cannot be missing from your little one's wardrobe. With its versatile design and high-quality materials, this diaper cover will keep your baby cool and comfortable at all times.

MATERIALS

  • Egyptian Cotton Ruby Col. 003.
  • 1 skein.
  • Knitting needles size 2.
  • Tapestry needle.
  • 40 cm. elastic.

DIAPER COVER PATTERN

We will start knitting our diaper cover bloomer by the crotch.

Front part Cast on 42 sts. – distributed as follows: 4 sts. garter stitch, 34 sts. stockinette stitch, and 4 sts. garter stitch. The garter stitches will be worked all around the leg opening. In the stockinette stitch section, after 4 rows, we will start the eyelets. Every 6 sts, take two together and yarn over. Continue until the end of the row and repeat after 7 rows, alternating the pattern. After 3 cm, start increasing, yarn over after the first garter stitches and before the last ones. Do this on every right-side row until a total of 16 increases on each side. In the next row, increase 6 sts at the beginning of the row and at the end, work 8 rows of garter stitch and then continue with stockinette stitch with the corresponding eyelets. After 11 cm, work consecutive eyelets to then fold and insert the elastic. This is done by taking 2 sts together and yarning over, always the same until the end of the row. - Then 4 rows of stockinette stitch and bind off.

Back part Along the crotch edge of the previous piece, insert the needle and pick up the same number of stitches I made, that is, 42 sts. Distribute them the same as the front but start increasing from the first row, making 19 increases, work 8 more rows of garter stitch along the edges and continue with stockinette stitch and eyelets. The same length as the front and finishing the same. Iron, sew the sides, and fold the top part. Insert the elastic as needed.

Buenas.

Trasero: 50 p. y 23 crecidos
