Wendy collar and cuffs
Anuskayhome teaches us in this free pattern how to crochet a beautiful collar and cuffs set, inspired by the universe of the Peter Pan movie.
"I wanted to capture that feeling of forest, adventure, and home all at once," says the designer, who explains how the yarn intertwines like branches at sunset, blending deep greens, warm earth tones, and shades that remind us of Neverland.
MATERIALS
- For the collar: 3 balls of Rubí Ámbar color 104
- For both cuffs: 1 ball of Rubí Ámbar color 104

HOW TO MAKE THE WENDY COLLAR AND CUFFS?
Collar pattern
Before starting:
Measure your neck circumference and make that measurement in chain stitches + 3 ch. 82 stitches in our example.
Round 1:
Yarn over and in the third chain from the hook, work the round in DC.

Turn your work.
Round 2:
Chain 3 (always counts as the first stitch of the round).
Work the entire round in DC.
Turn your work.
Round 3 to Round 6 inclusive (add more rounds if you want a taller collar).
Chain 3 and work a round of DC, but working the next stitch in back loop only, and the next in front loop only (forming elastic ribbing rounds).
Turn your work.

Round 7:
Chain 1.
And work the entire round in SC.
Turn your work.
Round 8:
Chain 3 (counts as the first stitch of the round); in the same stitch, work 2 more DC.

And continue working 3 DC in each SC of the previous round, until the end of the round.
Round 9
Chain 3 (counts as the first stitch of the round).
And continue working 1 DC in each DC of the previous round, until the end of the round (repeat this round 5 times; if you want it to cover your shoulders more, repeat this round more times).
Picot trim rounds
*Chain 5, skip 3 stitches from the previous round and in the fourth stitch, work a single crochet and in the next stitch, another single crochet.
Repeat *to* until the end of the round.
Turn your work.
Now chain 3 (counts as the first stitch of the round) and in the arch formed from the previous round,
work 3 double treble stitches, 3 chain stitches, 1 slip stitch at the base of the 3ch, and work 4 double treble stitches inside the arch. Now work a single crochet between the two single crochets you worked in the previous round.
Continue working until the end of the round with the following sequence: *inside the chain arch from the previous round (4DTC + 3ch + 1sl st at the base of those chain stitches + 4 DTC) and between the two single crochets from the previous round, work 1 single crochet*
At the end, in the last stitch, work 1 SC.
Now continue working a row of single crochets all around the piece.

When you reach the picots where you have the three chain stitches, work 3 SC inside them and continue until you complete the round.

Now chain 150 stitches.
This will be our collar cord.
(If you want it longer, chain more stitches).

We will pass it through the ribbed stitch section. One in, one out.

Finish to the end of the collar in the same way.
Cuff pattern
Repeat 2 times to create two cuff pieces.
Measure your wrist circumference and make that measurement in chain stitches + 3 ch, in our case 22+3 = 25 ch.
