Handy Cotton Headband

MATERIALS

6 balls of Handy cotton

Scissors

Textile glue

Headband

FINAL RESULT

PATTERN

STEP 1

We take the starting end of each ball and wind them together to make a single ball with all 6 skeins.

STEP 2

With all the ends together, we make a braid with our hands the length of the headband plus half again.

STEP 3

We tie the beginning and end of the braid with several strands of yarn and make a knot.

STEP 4

We wrap the 6 cotton ends together around the headband from one side to the other, making a knot at each end.

STEP 5

Now we apply textile glue on top of the covered headband and glue the braid on top of the covered headband, leaving excess at both ends.

STEP 6

We cut the excess material from both ends and leave it flush with the headband.

STEP 7

We wrap about 4 cm of the multicolor ball that we had wound at the beginning around both ends, cut it, and finish by gluing the ends of the strands inwards with the glue.
