When and how did the idea of creating your social media and website to share your work come about?

In 2018, seeing that other people were doing it, I decided to create an Instagram account to share what I was knitting. At that time, they weren't my designs, but projects I found on Ravelry. It would be in 2019 when I started designing my own patterns and publishing them on that platform. Later, I created my own website to publish them there as well.

What do you like most about dedicating yourself to design?

Making your own creations is always very satisfying. Seeing that people like what you design also makes you feel great.

What inspires you when creating new products?

Well, sometimes it's a historical figure, other times an architectural style, other times a city... Other times, I simply look at what type of garments are trending or the yarn I have to work with.

What is your next challenge?

I would love to make a knitting book.

An anecdote?

The name Beagle Knits came about because I have two beagle dogs who are my coworkers.

Briefly describe how you would define yourself and what characterizes or differentiates your designs.

This question is always difficult. Once I was described as "elegantly casual" and I think that's a definition I feel comfortable with.
