Knitting is for pretty girls

When and how did the idea of creating your social media and website to share your work come about?

I've been knitting for many years and I've always loved wearing my own knitted garments. When I started seeing that people really liked my outfits and increasingly asked me to make them the same garment or at least teach them how to do it, the idea came to me.

What do you like most about dedicating yourself to design?

Possibly, the satisfaction of keeping my creative side active, with the personal challenge of wanting to surpass myself, creating a different proposal every week... I think what I like most is seeing every week that imagination has no limits, and that's an exercise in personal growth that makes me proud.

What inspires you when creating new products?

I really like fashion; I get inspiration from it for colors and the shapes of necklines and cuts that are in style. I am very inspired by clothes made from fabric to transform them into garments of wool, yarn, and all those fibers that we have at our disposal for knitting and that I love, even more than fabrics.

What is your next challenge?

Every Wednesday is a challenge. I try to make sure that each week the project I present is different from the previous one in terms of pattern, model, etc. My challenge is that every day we can wear something created by ourselves.

An anecdote?

I have many. The funniest one, I think, was when I ran into two girls in the center of Madrid wearing a poncho I had created... And I also happened to be wearing it that day! It was lovely to meet through knitting and chat with them for a while.
