Ruby Deco Crochet Bag

Crochet hook size 5.5 mm

Yarn needle

Thread in the color of the bag

ABBREVIATIONS

Ch: chain

Sl st: slip stitch

St: stitch / Sts: stitches

Rnd: round

Inc: increase

Dec: decrease

PATTERN

Note: This project is worked in the round (seamless).

Chain 40 sts.

Rnd 1: Work in sl st. Inc 3 sts at each end (86 sts)

Rnd 2-6: Work the same as the previous rnd (116 sts)

Rnd 7-8: Work in sl st. Dec 1 st at each end (112 sts)

Rnd 9-19: Work in sl st.

Here begins the openwork of the bag.

Rnd 20: Make *4 ch, skipping 2 sts from the previous rnd*

Repeat from * to *. 32 arches.

Rnd 21-35: Work in the round on the previous 4 ch arches (see photo).

Make *4 ch and insert the hook into the arch of the previous rnd*. Repeat from * to *. 32 arches.

Rnd 36-41: Work in sl st. Fasten off.

FINISHING

For the bag handles, make two cords of 80cm each with 12 strands of Rubí Deco.

Sew the cords to the bag with thread of the same color and make a few passes with the cotton to cover the handle stitching.
