Shawl tied around the waist

Rubí Sunny – Col. 109 – 7 balls
Knitting needles N°6 and N° 3 ½ for the waist strip
Crochet hook N°4

PATTERN:

Start with a peak. Cast on 7 stitches and in stockinette stitch from the 3rd row, begin to increase (only on one side, the other remains straight) on every right-side row. First, 2 times 2 stitches, then 18 times 1 stitch, followed by 26 times 2 stitches, and finally 9 times 1 stitch. The increases end here, and 90 cm are worked without any shaping. After 90 cm, begin to decrease as before but in reverse.

For the waist strip, cast on 24 stitches and work in rib stitch (1-1) for 86 cm.

The central 20 cm are sewn to the previous piece on the side with the increases and decreases.

One end of the waist strip is sewn to a peak and a button is attached. On the other end, we place a loop made by casting on 26 stitches and working 4 rows in stockinette stitch (see photo).

Along the entire edge of the shawl, a crochet chain stitch is made.
