
Crochet-trim jacket

MATERIALS
To make the jacket with a crochet edge, we will use Rubí Mía wool (VL023) color 003 (6 balls) and Rubí Campiña acrylic color 435 (1 ball); Knitting needles #7; Crochet hook #2; And a tapestry needle.

PATTERN:
Back
Cast on 66 stitches and in stockinette stitch, work 50 cm. When you reach the armhole, decrease 2 stitches on each side. At 25 cm from the armhole, shape the shoulder and a slight back neckline.
Shoulder 6-6-5 and armhole 10 central stitches, 5-3.
Fronts
Cast on 33 stitches. The length up to the armhole will be the same as the back. Armhole 2-1. At 16 cm from the armhole, shape the neck, 5-3-2-1-1-1. The shoulder is the same as the back.
Sleeve
Cast on 33 stitches. Increase 5 stitches, one by one, along the length of the sleeve, on both sides.
At 43 cm from the beginning, start the shaping, decreasing 9 stitches one by one on each side, then 2-2-2-4, and finally the last 5.
Cast on 25 stitches. It will be 18 cm long.
Assembly and finishing
Sew the side seams and shoulders. Also, sew the sleeves and attach them to the body. Finally, place the pockets at the desired height.
Crochet edge
Once the jacket is finished, add the crochet edge detail as follows:
Work a round of crochet slip stitches all along the edge of the jacket and sleeves, then work 2 rounds of double crochet, and finally another round of slip stitches.
