MATERIALS

To make the jacket with colorful rosettes, we will use Rubí Natural (VHA04) colors 5, 6, 11, and 19 (one ball of each); a size 3 crochet hook; white thread, and a tapestry needle.

PATTERN

For a size 3-4 years (like the one in the photo) we will need to make 130 rosettes of 4x4 cm each.

The measurements are as follows: 27 cm high and 66 cm in circumference, with each front panel of the jacket with rosettes measuring 16 cm. The length of each sleeve is 26 cm.

To start each rosette, we need to make 16 double crochet stitches in a magic ring. The 2nd round consists of 2 double crochet stitches, 2 chains, until the end. This results in 8 groups of 2 double crochet stitches. For the 3rd round, make 2 double crochet stitches, 2 chains, but in the corners, make 4 double crochet stitches in the same space, with 3 chains between the 4 double crochet stitches.

The rosettes are arranged and grown on a pattern. Once all the rosettes are joined, we will make a border around the entire jacket and the cuffs of the sleeves with 3 rounds of slip stitches.
