FINAL RESULT

PATTERN:
Placemats
Start by making a magic circle and within it, make 8 groups of 3 dc separated by 2 ch. Close the circle and in the next round, do the same, alternating the groups of sts (we will do 3 rounds this way). In the next round, make 9 ch 8 times. Adjust each one to the groups of 3 sts (repeat the next round in the same way, and on this round, make 10 dc in each wave).
In the next round, which is the 6th, make the first openwork that separates the solid rounds. Make 1 dc and 2 ch. Repeat this until the end of the round.
Then, there are 3 solid rounds of dc, increasing 1 st every 10 sts in all three rounds.
Now, another openwork round like the previous one, and we make 4 rounds.
Then another openwork round and 5 solid rounds.
In these last solid rounds, increase 1 st every 12 sts.
To finish, make one last openwork round and on it, make 4 ch in each dc, creating an edging that we will finish with 4 sl sts in all of them.
Napkin Rings
Make a chain of 40 sts and close it with 1 sl st.
In each ch st, make a dc all around the circle, making 6 rounds.
Finish off both sides by making 4 ch all around the circle and 4 sl sts on them.
Finally, weave in all ends and iron the placemats.
