ARYA STARK GAME OF THRONES BELT
Today, hand in hand with Knitting Sheep, we bring you an original and very special project to give a different touch to your looks, combining the best of crochet and macramé. Let's get to it!
MATERIALS
1 ball of Rubí Macramé
1 5 mm crochet hook
2 stitch markers
Pins and cork board (optional)

What is it?
It is a belt to be worn over skirts and jeans, a model inspired by Arya Stark's costume from the Game of Thrones saga. To make it, 2 techniques are applied: crochet and macramé.
The stitches used are:
• In crochet: Chain (ch) and Double Crochet (dc). The ** means that the sequence is repeated until the end.
• In macramé: Lark's Head Knot and Square Knot.
Sizes
SMALL (76 cm) MEDIUM (80 cm) LARGE (94 cm)
HOW TO CROCHET THE PATTERN?
MACRAMÉ STITCHES
LARK'S HEAD KNOT
Generally, macramé pieces begin with this simple knot. You just have to pass the working yarn under the guide yarn as shown in the image.
SQUARE KNOT
1. Work with 4 cords, leaving two 1 central cords (3 and 4). Take the cord on the left (1) and bring it to the right over the central cords (3 and 4) and under the cord on the right (2).
2. Then, take the cord on the right (2) and pass it under the central cords (3 and 4), bringing it to the left and coming out through the loop of cord 1. Tighten.
3. Repeat from step 1, returning each cord to its place once more.
STEP BY STEP
1. With a crochet hook, chain 30 (30-30), place a marker, chain 116 (131-146), place a marker, and chain 30 (30-30). Cut the yarn.
Clarification: The number of stitches in parentheses will correspond to sizes M and L respectively.
2. At one of the markers, chain 3 and then, double crochet in each chain until the next marker. That is, 3 ch *1dc* (116-131-146).
Repeat two more times until you have 3 rows of double crochet stitches. On each side, there will be 30 unworked chains to secure the belt to the waist.
3. In the fifth round of the project, chain 4 (3 ch + 1 ch space), skip 1 ch, and double crochet in the next. Continue to the end with *1 dc, 1 ch, skip one space, 1 dc*. In this way, small squares will be formed, where the macramé technique will then be applied.
4. Cut 70 cm strips to knot to the fabric. It is not recommended that they be shorter than the indicated measurement, as then all the ends will have to be cut and evened out.
5. Make a Lark's Head knot on the crocheted fabric. Fold two strips in half and knot as shown in the image. Always leave a free space between one knot and the next. That is, one square yes and one no.
6. In this round, we will begin to work the 06 double square knot. Take the first 4 cords and knot as indicated in the sequence (see box where the step-by-step of this knot is explained).
7. In the next step, we will continue with the double square knots, but this time, we will take 2 cords from one strip and 2 07 from the next. We will finish this row and do one more. If desired, a cork board and pins can be used to pin the work and work more comfortably.
8. Once the two rows of double square knots are finished, trim the fringes and burn the ends of the yarn with a lighter to prevent fraying.
