ABBREVIATIONS
ch: chain
sl st: slip stitch
sc: single crochet
scblo: single crochet back loop only
dc: double crochet
STEP BY STEP
Make a chain of 120 stitches in color 010.
Rows 1 – 9: Work 9 rows of scblo, meaning, working into the back loop only, using the tapestry technique, following the chart below:

The rows are NOT worked in back and forth rows, do NOT turn your work. The first row is worked from right to left and the yarn is cut. Go back to the first stitch and start the second row also from right to left, working all 120 stitches, following the color chart in tapestry technique. When this row is finished, cut the yarn. Continue working all rows in the same way.
After completing the 9 rows, you will have a wide strip. Weave in the yarn tails. Work 9 sc into the left end of the strip for a neater finish. Sew this end to the buckle.
Work 9 sc into the right end for a neater finish. Turn the work and make 1 sl st, 1 sc, skip 2 stitches and in the next stitch make a fan of 6 dc (work 6 dc into the same stitch), skip 2 stitches and in the next stitch make 1 sc, 1 sl st. Cut the yarn tail and weave it in.
