MATERIALS
2 balls of jute Rubí Nómada natural color
1 ball of jute Rubí Nómada white color
Crochet hook size 6

SUN FLOWER COASTERS
We crochet 1 granny piece as follows.
- Round 1
Make a magic circle and crochet 3 chains to go up (they count as the 1st stitch). Crochet 11 more double crochets inside the ring.
Close with a slip stitch made by taking the last chain of the rise according to the stitch.
Total 12 double crochets.
- Round 2
Crochet 2 stitches in each stitch of the previous round.
(sequence throughout the round)
Close with a slip stitch made by taking the last chain of the rise according to the stitch.
Total 24 double crochets.
- Round 3
Crochet 1 stitch in the 1st stitch and 2 stitches in the 2nd stitch of the previous round.
(sequence throughout the round)
Total 36 double crochets.
- Round 4
Crochet 1 stitch in the first 2 stitches and 2 stitches in the 3rd stitch of the previous round.
Close with a slip stitch (picking up the new jute color) made by taking the last chain of the rise according to the stitch. (Sequence throughout the round)
Total 48 double crochets.
- Round 5
Crochet 6 chain stitches, skip 6 stitches and in the seventh make a slip stitch, continue like this until the end of the round where we will skip 5 chains and in the sixth crochet a slip stitch. We will have formed 7 arches.
- Round 6
Yarn over and in the first arch make 6 double crochets. Crochet 3 chain stitches and in the same arch another 6 double crochets, at the junction of the arches crochet a slip stitch and continue the same as the previous arch, when you finish crocheting the arches close with a slip stitch, fasten off and cut the yarn.
Submerge the grannies in warm water and block them by the tip of the petals.
Let dry.
Our Coasters are now ready.


PLACEMAT
We crochet 1 piece as follows.
Take the inner strand and the outer strand, in this way we will crochet with double strand.
- Round 1
Make a magic circle and crochet 3 chains to go up (they count as the 1st stitch), crochet 11 more double crochets inside the ring. Close with a slip stitch. And go up with 3 chains.
Total 12 double crochets.
- Round 2
Crochet 2 stitches in each stitch of the previous round. (sequence throughout the round)
Close with a slip stitch.
And go up with 3 chains. Total 24 double crochets.
- Round 3
Crochet 1 stitch in the 1st stitch and 2 stitches in the 2nd stitch of the previous round.
(sequence throughout the round) Total 36 double crochets.
Close with a slip stitch.
And go up with 3 chains.
- Round 4
Crochet 1 stitch in the first 2 stitches and 2 stitches in the 3rd stitch of the previous round. (Sequence throughout the round)
Close with a slip stitch (with the new jute color) made by taking the last chain of the rise according to the stitch.
Go up with 3 chains. Total, 48 double crochets.
- Round 5
Crochet 1 stitch A in the first 3 stitches and 2 stitches in the 3rd stitch of the previous round. (Sequence throughout the round)
Total 60 double crochets.
Close with a slip stitch.
And go up with 3 chains.
- Round 6
Crochet 1 stitch A in the first 4 stitches and 2 stitches in the 3rd stitch of the previous round. (Sequence throughout the round)
Close with a slip stitch taking the last chain of the rise. Total 72 double crochets.
Close with a slip stitch.
And go up with 3 chains.
- Round 7
Crochet 1 stitch A in the first 5 stitches and 2 stitches in the 3rd stitch of the previous round. (Sequence throughout the round)
Total 84 double crochets.
Close with a slip stitch.
And go up with 3 chains.
- Round 8
Crochet 1 stitch A in the first 6 stitches and 2 stitches in the 3rd stitch of the previous round. (Sequence throughout the round)
Total 96 double crochets.
Close with a slip stitch with the white jute color with which we will continue crocheting the following rounds.
- Round 9
Crochet 18 chain stitches, skip 15 stitches from the previous round and in the 16th make a slip stitch.
Continue until the end of the round in the same way but skipping 16 stitches and crocheting a slip stitch in the first stitch of the round.
We will have formed 6 arches.
- Round 10
Now crochet inside the first arch this sequence (15 double crochets, 3 chain stitches and another 15 double crochets) when you reach the end of the arch make a slip stitch and continue the same sequence in the rest of the arches.
When you reach the end, fasten off with a slip stitch, cut and hide the yarn ends.
Submerge the granny in warm water and block it with pins at the tip of the petals.
Let dry.
And our sunflower placemat is finished.

NAPKIN RING
- Round 1
With the double strand, crochet 15 chain stitches and join them with a slip stitch.
- Round 2
Go up with 3 chains that count as the first dc, crochet 14 more dc, close with a slip stitch.
- Round 3
Repeat round number 2 and close the last stitch with white color.
- Round 4
Crochet 5 chain stitches and join with a slip stitch to the previous round, skipping 4 stitches and crocheting it in the fifth stitch.
Repeat 2 more times until 3 arches are formed.
The last slip stitch is made with white color.
- Round 5
Crochet 6 dc inside the arch, 2 chain stitches and 6 more dc in the same way with the next two arches.
Finishing with a slip stitch, fasten off and cut the yarn ends.

Our set is ready for a delicious breakfast.
