Cotton clutch

MATERIALS
To make the cotton clutch, we will use Rubí Handy Cotton (VHA07) in colors 840 (2 skeins) and colors 461, 860, 460, and 471 (1 skein of each color); a 18 cm zipper; a keychain ring for the tassel; a size 3 crochet hook; yellow yarn; a tapestry needle; and a sewing needle.

PATTERN
Make 22 chains - 1 row of all slip stitches and in the next row and all subsequent rows, skip one stitch and work in the next. Make 5 double crochets in the same stitch and join the first stitch with the last to form 2 popcorn stitches (as you can see in the photos).
Then make 2 chains and repeat the previous operation until the end of the row. Change colors when starting the stitch on the right side.
Finally, to make the tassel, we will use yellow Rubí Handy Cotton. We will make 2 cords of 40 cm and fold them in half through the ring. This adornment will serve to open and close our cotton clutch.
