MATERIALS

To make the velvet wool cushion, we will use Rubí Alma Star (VL034) color 05 (2 balls) and 06 (4 balls), size 5 knitting needles, lining fabric, sewing needle, and stuffing.

PATTERN

Cast on 69 stitches. All in stockinette stitch. On the 6th row, we start with the pattern. Every 9 stitches, we make 1 stitch with yarn of another color, passing the yarn behind. Always the same until the end of the row.

In the next row, we do everything the same as in the previous one. The stitch of another color is repeated in this row.

In the next row (which is the 3rd of the pattern), where the stitch of another color is, we make 5 stitches of the same color (2 stitches before the single stitch and 2 stitches after) until the end of the row. In the next row, we repeat the 5 stitches. In the following two rows where there are 5 stitches, only 1 stitch is made.

Always passing the yarn behind and leaving it very loose.

After each pattern, 4 rows of the light color are made, and then it starts again. The pattern is made, but staggered.

We will do this until we have 120 cm in length. All stitches are cast off, and we spread out the work to baste the lining all around.

Fold it inside out and sew all around, leaving a section unsewn to turn the work right side out and to stuff it later. Once we have stuffed our cushion, we sew the remaining section.
