Christmas tree with pom-poms

MATERIALS:
To make this pompom Christmas tree, we will use Rubí Fiesta yarn (VL037) color 001, 8 balls; color 005, 2 balls, color 006, 6 balls; 2 sheets of green cardstock; glue; cardboard for the pompoms; tapestry needle; polystyrene balls 2.5 – 3 mm.

FINAL RESULT
PATTERN:
Using cardstock, make a cone with a base diameter of 14cm and a height of approximately 38cm. Glue it to a piece of cardstock and start gluing the pompoms from the bottom.
The first row has pompoms with an 8cm diameter, the rest have a 6cm diameter, except for the last two which have a 5cm diameter.
The red and white balls are covered with single crochet. Both the pompoms and the balls are glued to the cardboard cone (see photo).
