MATERIALS:

To make the men's sleeveless sweater, we will use Rubí Clasica wool (VL001) color 079 (4 balls); 3mm knitting needles; and a tapestry needle.

Front

Cast on 145 stitches, work 8 rows in elastic stitch (ribbing) and continue with stockinette stitch. At 30 cm from the beginning, work the 3 central stitches in purl, changing the direction of the stitches.

These 3 stitches will be worked in the next 10 rows on both sides, then instead of 3 stitches, work in sets of 2 until reaching the edge of the side.

At 46 cm from the beginning, shape the armhole, first 4 stitches, then 3-2-1 on both sides.

At 59 cm from the bottom, shape the neck. First 13 central stitches, then 3-3-3-2-1-1.

At 24 cm from the armhole, shape the shoulder: 10 stitches-10 stitches-10 stitches-12 stitches.

First work one side and then finish the other.

Back

Cast on 137 stitches. Work the same as the front. First the elastic stitch (ribbing) and at the same height, begin with the changed stitch. Shape the armhole at the same height as the front, decreasing 3 stitches-2 stitches-1 stitch. Continue until reaching the shoulder, which will be started at the same time as the neck decreases. Continue with the shoulder 10 stitches, 10 stitches, and 12 stitches and at the same time the neck with 7 stitches, 4 stitches, 3 stitches. First one side and then the other.

Assembly and finishing

First sew one shoulder, then pick up the necessary stitches for the neck. For this sleeveless sweater, it was 105 stitches. Then create the armhole opening with 115 stitches.

Sew the other shoulder and create the second armhole. For all ribbing, we worked 8 rows. Then sew the sides.
