Article: Jacquard star blanket

Manta estrellas jacquard

Jacquard star blanket

DIFFICULTY LEVEL 3

MATERIALS

To make the jacquard star blanket by María Atelier, we will use Rubí Extra Merino (VL020) color 910 (5 balls), color 810 (3 balls) and a 7 mm crochet hook.

Choose your favorite color in our online store.

FINAL RESULT

Pattern

Using Rubí Extra Merino gray yarn, chain 98 plus one turning chain and work two rows of single crochet in gray, then continue by making a turning chain when you finish the row before turning the work. Continue crocheting in jacquard stitch, working all stitches in single crochet following the chart.

Start each row with a turning chain.
Repeat the chart until you have 7 rows of stars. When you finish the last row of stars, crochet two rows in gray again, just as you started.
Weave in the yarn ends and start the blanket border.

Border

Using yellow Rubí Extra Merino yarn, work single crochet stitches all around the blanket, one stitch per hole or chain you find. When you reach the corners, make two single crochet stitches in the same stitch to turn. Finish the round with a slip stitch.
In the second round, chain 3 (these will not count as a double crochet). Make one double crochet in the same stitch and in all stitches of the previous round. Finish the round with a slip stitch.
In the third and final round, make one slip stitch for each double crochet of the previous round, but crochet loosely; do not pull the stitch tight.

Finish by hiding all your yarn ends.
