FINAL RESULT

PATTERN
In this project, we will decorate a size M white t-shirt with a knitted musette with fringes.
The front and back musette are made in the same way. We will start with the point. Everything in stockinette stitch except for the neck ribbing.
Cast on 2 stitches, which will be the center, and then increase on both sides equally in every row.
First 1 stitch.
Then 3 times 2 stitches.
Then 2 times 3 stitches.
Then 7 times 4 stitches.
Then 1 time 2 stitches.
Work 5 cm and start the armhole by decreasing 3 stitches, then 2 stitches, then 3 stitches. Continue, and at 18 cm from the armhole, start the shoulder. Before that, we will shape the neck in the front. At 20 cm from the point of the musette, close 7 central stitches, then 3-3-3-2-1-1-1. The shoulder is 7-6-7.
For the back musette, start the shoulder and the neck shaping at the same time. 10 central stitches, 10 stitches on each side, and 3 stitches on both sides.
Next, we make the neck ribbing. First, we make one side and then the other, which we will sew at the same time as the shoulder.
To make the neck ribbing, pick up the necessary stitches and work 6 rows of rib stitch.
Sew the shoulders, the neckband, and the sides.
The next step will be to attach it to the t-shirt, sewing the neck first (very loosely so that it can pass over the head without problems). Then, fold the knit along the entire armhole and sew. Sew the entire hem of the musette with long stitches so that the ends of the fringes can be inserted later.
Fringes
The fringes will be made by creating cords with the same Bambú Zen. All will be of different sizes, as our goal is for them to end at the edge of the t-shirt.
To make them, take a strand, twist it, and fold it. One end will be neatly finished, and the other will be sewn underneath the musette.
