Mini pearl sandals

MATERIALS

To make the mini beaded sandals, we will use:

Zeppelin Perlé Col. 002, 103, 310, 407 (1 ball of each color)
Crochet hook size 2
2 buttons
White thread and sewing needle

HOW TO CROCHET THE PATTERN?

STITCHES USED AND ABBREVIATIONS

ch: chain.

sc: single crochet (same as slip stitch).

sl st: slip stitch.

rnd: round / rnds: rounds.

st: stitch.

STEP BY STEP

Note: start with the sole.

SOLE

Crochet the sole with two strands of color 002.

Chain 18.

rnd 1: ch 1, crochet 17sc (1sc in each ch), crochet 3sc in the last ch, turn work and crochet 16sc (1sc in each ch), crochet 2sc in the last ch, close the rnd with 1sl st.

rnds 2-6: ch 1, crochet 1sc in each sc of the previous rnd, crocheting 3sc in the sc at the ends of the previous rnd, close the rnds with 1sl st.

rnd 7: ch 1, crochet 1sc in each sc of the previous rnd, crocheting 4sc in the sc at the ends of the previous rnd, close the rnds with 1sl st.

Make one more rnd, crocheting 1sc in each sc of the previous rnd.

HEEL

Crochet the heel with one strand of color 002, around one end of the sole. Crochet 26sc, 1sc in each sc on the edge of the sole at that end.

We will crochet back and forth for 12 rnds. In the last rnd, increase at the end by chaining 25 to form the closure strap. The last 11 chains correspond to the button loop, so in the return rnd, we will crochet 1sc in each ch starting from the 11 ch at the end: 14 strap sc plus the 26 heel sc.

Crochet one more rnd.

For the other sandal, crochet the same, but chain the 25 at the other end.

VAMP

Make 14 strips of 30 ch and 1 rnd of sc. Each sandal will have 7 strips: 1 strip of color 002 and 2 strips of colors 103, 310, and 407.

With color 002, make 2 strips of 12cm with 3 rnds of sc. These will be the central strips of the vamp to which all the others will be sewn.

FINISHING

Each 12cm strip goes in the center, holding the 7 colored strips of each sandal and joining them to the sandal's little strap. In turn, the 7 strips of each sandal are sewn at their ends to the edges of the sole. All strips are sewn with normal white thread.
