-2 wooden buttons and 7 smaller buttons for the crotch

HOW TO MAKE THIS OVERALLS?

The two parts (front and back) are the same; only the straps are different.

Cast on 20 stitches. Work 2 rows in garter stitch, then all stockinette stitch. Approximately every 6 rows, increase 1 stitch on the part that will be the crotch. After 44 rows, place this piece on the stitch holder and make another identical one, which we will join to the previous one by increasing 6 stitches between the two, taking care that the increased stitches are both on the inside of the legs.

Continue knitting and after 44 rows from this point, decrease 1 stitch on each side, and after 12 rows, decrease another stitch on each side. Continue until you reach the armhole, which will be 38 cm from the very beginning.

Armhole

Bind off 3 stitches on each side and decrease 8 stitches on both sides 1 by 1, making 2 garter stitches at the edge as a finish. At the end of the decreases, continue with garter stitch for 4 rows, then bind off 14 central stitches, leaving 9 stitches on each side for the straps. The front straps have 22 rows and the back straps have 42 rows.

Make 1 buttonhole at 36 rows.

On the crotch, pick up the necessary stitches to make a strip of 5 rows in garter stitch. On one side, make the buttonholes, and on the other, sew the buttons.

Sew the sides and attach the buttons.

The pocket has 12 stitches and 26 rows in garter stitch.
