ABBREVIATIONS

K: knit

P: purl

YO: yarn over.

Chained st: yarn over, purl 2 stitches, and pass the yarn over the two knitted stitches.

Selvedge st: slip the first stitch knitwise without knitting it, knit the last stitch of every row.

R: row

st: stitches

*_*: repeat steps indicated between asterisks.

STEP BY STEP

Row 1 and all odd rows are knitted.

On even rows, we will distinguish 2 ways to start so that the stitch has the alternating seed stitch pattern.

R2: 1 Selvedge st/*1YO/2P/pass yarn over the 2 P you knitted/2P* /*… *repeat until the
end, ending with 1K

R4: 1 Selvedge st/*2P/1YO/2P/pass yarn over the 2 P you knitted*/*…* repeat until the
end, ending with 1K.
