Elongated st: insert the right needle into the 2nd stitch to the left of the last one knitted, but 4 rows below, pull out the yarn and pick up a new stitch.

P2tog: purl 2 stitches together.

STEP BY STEP

Cast on a multiple of 12 +2 stitches. In the sample, we work 24 sts + 2 = 26 stitches.
