We continue to give shape to the little ones' wardrobe using our most delicate and pleasant qualities, following patterns as sweet as this romper for babies.
MATERIALS
FOR THE ROMPER:
- Egyptian Cotton Rubí col. 600.
- 1 ball 10 Buttons 40 cm.
- Thin white elastic.
- Knitting needles size 2.
- Tapestry needle.
FOR THE BLOUSE:
- Egyptian Cotton Rubí col. 003.
- 1 ball Knitting needles size 3.
- Tapestry needle 6 Buttons.
PATTERN
FOR THE ROMPER
Start with the bib. Cast on 37 sts. work 10 rows in garter stitch. In row 6, make a buttonhole at each end, 3 sts from the edge. After 10 rows, work in stockinette stitch, except for the first 7 sts and the last 7 sts, which will continue in garter stitch along all edges. At 10 cm from the beginning, make buttonholes, a total of 4 on each side, separated by 3 cm. Continue for 5 more cm and start increasing on both sides. Continue with the 7 garter sts at the edge, cast on a yarn over, and make an increase in each row. Make a total of 15 increases on each side. In the next row, increase 35 sts at once on each side. Work 10 rows in garter stitch and continue in stockinette stitch, except for the edges where you continue with the 7 garter sts. At 11 cm, work 1 row by knitting 2 sts together and making a yarn over throughout the row, then 4 rows in stockinette stitch and bind off all sts. Fold this edge, sew it, and insert the elastic. Attach buttons as shown in the photo. For the straps, cast on 8 sts and work in garter stitch for 38 cm.
FOR THE BLOUSE
- Front of the blouse Cast on 74 sts. work 6 rows in garter stitch, then stockinette stitch. Every 7 rows, make eyelets by casting on a yarn over and knitting 2 sts together. This is done every 8 sts throughout the row. At 7 rows, make another row of eyelets, alternating them with the previous ones. At 8 cm from the beginning, shape the armhole and start the raglan. On both sides, bind off 5 sts, then 1 by 1 a total of 8 sts on each side, followed by 6 times 2 sts. A little before finishing these decreases, shape the neck, bind off 6 central sts, then 4 sts and 4 sts.
- Back Cast on 37 sts. work the garter stitch rows and the decreases as for one side of the front, but do not shape the neck here. Bind off the remaining sts at once. The other side of the back is made in the same way but in reverse. - Sleeve Cast on 46 sts. work 6 rows in garter stitch. In the next row, increase 12 sts evenly distributed. Continue with stockinette stitch and the eyelets explained previously. At 5 cm from the beginning, start the raglan decreases. First, bind off 4 sts on both sides, and then decrease 15 sts 1 by 1, then 2 sts and bind off all.
- Finishing and assembly Sew the sides, sew the sleeves, and adapt them to the armholes. Along the back opening, pick up the necessary stitches, work 6 rows in garter stitch. On one side, make the buttonholes, and on the other, attach the buttons. On the collar, do the same, pick up the necessary stitches and work 5 rows in garter stitch.
