Rosette to decorate cushion

MATERIALS

To make the rosette to decorate a 40 cm cushion, we will use Rubí 100% cotton in color 208 (1 ball); a size 2 crochet hook and a yarn needle.

PATTERN

To make the rosette, we start with a magic circle and make 18 double crochets. Close the circle and continue with the other rounds. Next round: 18 double crochets separated by 1 in each subsequent round, every two stitches, I make a pass of 5 chain stitches.

The next one is the same, but with passes of 7 chain stitches. Another round the same, but with passes of 4 chain stitches.

The next round, which is the 6th, is made entirely of continuous double crochets.

Then there will be three identical rounds, made with 4 double crochets, 4 chain stitches. The next round is entirely made of continuous double crochets, without any gaps.

The next one, which is round 11, is also continuous, but every 8 stitches, 2 chain stitches are made to create a small gap. The next one, we make 9 chain stitches from gap to gap. In the other one, we make 9 double crochets in the previous passes.

We are now in round 14 and there will be 3 identical rounds: 4 double crochets, 4 chain stitches. The next one is entirely made of continuous double crochets. Then 4 identical rounds of passes of 7 chain stitches. Finally, some points of 6 double crochets are made.

Once the rosette is finished, iron it and attach it to the cushion you want to decorate with it, securing it with a few stitches here and there.
