MATERIALS:

To make the rosetas shorts, we will use Perlé Rubí nº5 yarns in colors 101, 102, 202, 401, 402 and 405 (1 ball of each); a nº3 crochet hook; a tapestry needle; a 14 cm zipper; 1 button.

Rosettes

Each rosette that forms the shorts measures 9x9 cm and is made as follows:

We make a magic ring and in it we make 4 groups of 3 dc separated by two chains.

In the next row and all subsequent rows, groups of 3 dc are still made, but separated by 1 less chain stitch in the corners, where 2 chain stitches will be made.

The color can be changed whenever desired; in our rosette short pattern, we changed it every two rows, and the last row was always white.

Assembly

For a size S, we will make 31 rosettes.

Sew the rosettes together to form a rectangle of 3 rosettes x 10.

The ends are joined by sewing 12 cm from the bottom. The other part is left for the zipper.

The top part (the waistband) is worked with three rows of dc and 1 more row of sl st.

To tie the rosette shorts, we will make a braid with scraps of the Perlé Rubí yarns we used, 1.50 cm long, and pass it through one of the rows we made at the waist. At the end, we add two colored beads.

For the leg openings, two rows of dc are made, and a final row of sl st.

The remaining rosette is sewn by joining the back part to the front part in the center.

At the waist, we place a button and on the other side, we make a buttonhole.
