Zig zag dress

DIFFICULTY LEVEL 3

MATERIALS:

To make the zig-zag dress, we will use Rubí Natural colors 021, 022, and 023 (2 balls of each); color 002 (3 balls); a 3 mm crochet hook, and a tapestry needle.

PATTERN:

We make a chain of approximately 65 cm. In the stitches of this chain, we first make 10 double crochet stitches, in the next stitch we increase 4 stitches in one, and then make another 10 double crochet stitches. The next 5 stitches are worked together, reducing them to 1 stitch. This operation will be repeated until we have 5 points, which is approximately 50 cm.

It should be noted that if we start the zig-zag going up, we must finish it going down so that the neckline is centered.

At 42 cm from the beginning of the zig-zag dress, the 10 double crochet stitches of each section are reduced to 9 double crochet stitches. Everything else is done the same. The increases and decreases explained above are made in all rows.

Armhole

At 49 cm from the beginning, we continue working only the 3 central points, decreasing one more stitch in each section, so we are left with 8 double crochet stitches.

At 14 cm from the armhole, you can continue a few more rows on the ends, but you can also leave it at the points (see photos).

Back

The back is made the same, but the neckline is a little higher, making a few more rows than the front.

Assembly

Sew the sides, making sure the stripes match.

Along the neckline and armhole opening, make a slip stitch, and to join the back to the front, make a chain of 16 cm. Then make a row of double crochet.

Along the bottom, make 3 rows of double crochet without increases or decreases. Then make an edging of 5 chains, through which we will finally pass a slip stitch.
