Before you begin, you should know:

When crocheting dc, there will be 2 or 3 turning chains, as indicated, and they will count as the first stitch of the row you are working on.
When working sc rows, there will be one turning chain and it will not count as the first stitch.
The openwork is created by crocheting a chain between two double crochets. This chain will count as a stitch, so we will skip a stitch. At the beginning of the row, you will notice 3 chs. These are 2 for turning and 1 that counts as a chain, so we will skip one stitch.
The dress has two versions. With a closed straight neckline or with an open neckline. I personally prefer the closed neckline, but I have decided to include both versions so you can crochet it to your liking. For the closed version, simply crochet the back twice (Not the front).
The dress consists of a front, a back, and two side pieces that will be sewn together. Once the central piece is created, we will proceed to crochet the sleeve ruffles.
The dress is crocheted in a size S (US 6 / UK 8).
To increase the size, you can add the necessary stitches to the main chain at the beginning. You should follow the sequence: an even number of chs + 3 turning chs. The model wears a size 36 (US 6 / UK 8). To increase the size, crochet one to two more stitches on each side, for both the front and the back.
Let's begin!!

Sides (x2)

Take Rubí Eco white yarn and crochet…
9ch, 3ch for turning
1. 9dc
2 – 58. 2ch, 9dc

**Sew the sides to the front and back, aligning all pieces. The sides will be the perfect size, extending from the hem to the armhole. In total, you should make four seams.
**Once the side of the dress is sewn, we will proceed to sew the shoulders. For the open neckline, you will easily find them, and for the closed straight neckline, there will be 11 stitches on each side.
** To make the sleeve ruffles, we will only crochet around the pink armhole. That is, we will crochet the armholes of the front and back pieces once they are sewn together. The white side piece will not be crocheted at any point. We will crochet from left to right, turning the work as follows…

Ruffles

1. 1Ch, 1sc all around the pink armhole
2. 1ch, 1sc, 1hdc, 3dc in each stitch all around the armhole. In the last two stitches, 1hdc and 1sc.
3. 3ch, 1dc, [1ch, 1dc] until the end of the work. We are forming openwork. If you have one stitch left at the end, make 1sc.

Neckline

**If you chose the open neckline option.
Make a sc edging around the front once the dress is finished. Do not make it on the back area.
