MATERIALS

To make the Welcome Summer dress, we will use Rubí Perlé oro nº5 (VHO01) color 306 (8 balls); crochet hook nº2; and a tapestry needle.

FINAL RESULT

PATTERN

Make a chain of 70 cm. On it, make 3 rows of double crochet, in the center make 3 double crochet, 3 chains, and 3 double crochet in the same stitch. This is what is done to create the point.

2 chains of 60 cm, performing the same operation in the center.

2 chains of 55 cm with the central point the same as the previous ones.

These 4 strips are only 2 rows.

For the neckline, the strip will be 46 cm and the armhole strip will be 42 cm in the round. These are made plain without a point.

The previous strips are for half a dress, so everything above will have to be repeated twice (by attaching these strips, the gold perlé rosettes will have more support).

Rosettes

In total, we made 45 rosettes for the front and 45 for the back.

1st row: Magic circle and in it 24 double crochet.

2nd row: every 3 previous stitches, make 3 double crochet in the same stitch separated by 3 chains.

3rd row: In the spaces, make 4 double crochet separated by 4 chains.

4th row: From one group of 4 double crochet to the next, make 10 chains.

5th row: In the 10-chain spaces, make 6 double crochet, 3 chains, and 6 double crochet.

Once the rosettes are made, we will have to sew them to the different plain strips we have made (see photo). The widest strip is placed at the bottom to attach some fringes that we will make with the same gold perlé.

Fringes

To make the fringes that finish our welcome summer dress, we will cut 30 cm threads and form each set in groups of 10 threads.
