HOW TO MAKE THE SWEET CANDY DRESS?

Front part, skirt and body

With Rubí Garabatos, start the hem of the skirt by casting on 115 sts. Work 8 rows in garter stitch. Continue with stocking stitch. After 8 rows, decrease 1 st on each side and continue for 30 more rows, decreasing 1 st on each side.

Continue until you have 26 cm from the hem (approx. 83 rows).

In the next row, decrease half of the sts by picking them up 2 by 2 from the beginning of the row to the end, leaving 56 sts. Then, start using Rubí Clásica, continuing with stocking stitch. At row 22 from the waist, shape the armhole.

Armhole: 2 sts, 1 st, 1 st

At 42 rows from the waist (approx. 15 cm), start shaping the neckline, closing 8 central sts, then 3 sts - 1 st - 1 st. At row 52, shape the shoulder: close 6 sts - 7 sts. After the 8 central sts, one side is finished, and then the other.

Back (skirt and back)

With Rubí Garabatos yarn, cast on 110 sts. Do not decrease at the sides of the skirt. The rest is the same as the front until the armhole.

Armhole: 3 sts - 1 st.

At 7 rows from the armhole, close 1 central st: this divides the back into two. Reserve one part and continue with the other. The neckline is not shaped, and the shoulder is made at the same height as the front, closing all sts for the neckline. Then, the other side is made.

Sleeve

With Rubí Garabatos, cast on 64 sts and work 4 rows in garter stitch. Then, work 4 rows in stocking stitch. In the next row, decrease the sts by half, picking them up 2 by 2, leaving 32 sts. Change to Rubí Clásica: work 18 rows, and in these rows, increase 4 sts on each side, evenly distributed.

Comb

First close 2 sts on each side and then 7 sts (1 by 1) on both sides.

Finishing

At the back opening, pick up the sts to make a strip of 3 rows of garter stitch on each side. Buttonholes go on one side. Sew the shoulders and, in the neck opening, pick up the sts and make a strip of 3 rows.

Assembly

Sew the side seams of the skirt and body, sew the sleeve seams and fit them into the armholes. Attach the buttons.
