MATERIALS

* 1 ball of Rubí Natural color 006 Pink
* 1 ball of Rubí Natural color 030 Black

*1 ball of Rubí Natural Medium color 002 Beige
* 3.5 mm crochet hook (or the size needed to match your tension)
* 1 wooden button
* 12 or 14 cm zipper.
* Synthetic stuffing
* Tapestry needle
* Sewing needle
* Sewing thread
* Scissors
* Stitch marker

ABBREVIATIONS

sc = Single crochet
sl st = Slip stitch
sc blo = Single crochet back loop only
hdc = Half double crochet
dc = Double crochet
ch = Chain
inc = Increase
dec = Decrease
[ ] = Work stitches in brackets into the same stitch.

MEASUREMENTS: 12 cm wide x 6 cm high for the base purse, not counting the ears of each animal.

STEP BY STEP

1. Read the pattern carefully before you start crocheting
2. Crochet each of the pieces as indicated in the pattern
3. Sew, stuff, or embroider the pieces as indicated
4. I chose these colors, but enjoy choosing your own combination

Purse Base (Crochet in beige 002)

Round 1: Make a magic ring with 6 sc (6 sts.)
Round 2: Work 1 inc in all stitches (12 sts.)
Round 3: (1 sc + 1 inc) x 6 (18 sts.)
Round 4: (2 sc + 1 inc) x 6 (24 sts.)
Round 5: (3 sc + 1 inc) x 6 (30 sts.)
Round 6: (4 sc + 1 inc) x 6 (36 sts.)
Round 7: (5 sc + 1 inc) x 6 (42 sts.)
Round 8: (6 sc + 1 inc) x 6 (48 sts.)
Round 9 – 17: Work 1 sc in each stitch (48 sts.)
Round 18: Work 1 sl st in each stitch (48 sts.)
Close and fasten off.

Eye Patch (Crochet one in brown 003)

Round 1: Make a magic ring with 6 sc (6 sts.)
Round 2: Work 1 inc in all stitches (12 sts.)
Close, fasten off, and leave a long tail for sewing to the purse base.

Snout (Crochet in beige 002)

Round 1: Make a magic ring with 6 sc (6 sts.)
Round 2: Work 1 inc in all stitches (12 sts.)
Round 3: (3 sc + 3 inc) x2 (18 sts.)
Round 4 -5: Work 1 sc in each stitch (18 sts.)
Close, fasten off, and leave a long tail for sewing to the purse base.
Ears x 2 (Crochet 1 in beige 002 and another in brown 003)
Round 1: Make a magic ring with 6 sc (6 sts.)
Round 2: Work 1 inc in all stitches (12 sts.)
Round 3 – 10: Work 1 sc in each stitch (12 sts.)
Round 11: (4 sc + 1 dec) x 2 (10 sts.)
Fold and work 1 sc, fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing to the purse base.

ASSEMBLY

1. Sew the zipper
2. Sew the ears centered, on one side of the base with a separation of 5 stitches. The brown ear
to the left and the beige one to the right.
3. Sew the eye patch centered below the beige ear (right side) between rounds 12 and 16
4. Embroider the eyes in black between rounds 12 and 13 with a separation of 8 stitches, counting
from the patch
5. Sew the snout centered with the eyes and the patch, stuffing it lightly with synthetic filling and
embroider the nose in pink.
6. Embroider the blush in pink on the sides of the eyes.
