About the pattern
I recommend you read the instructions to the end before starting your project.
The difficulty level is medium.
Gauge swatch 21 stitches × 12 rounds = 10 × 10 cm.
The cacti are crocheted in both spiral and continuous rounds, so the rounds are neither joined nor turned unless indicated otherwise.
The magic ring is the ideal way to start a spiral crochet project, because when the ring is closed there is no hole in the center of the piece that would spoil it or through which the stuffing could peek out. If you don't want to use this method, you can also start with two chain stitches, with the second chain stitch from the hook being the circle used to crochet the stitches indicated in the first round.
For decreases, two stitches are worked together, reducing the number of stitches in the round. To achieve an even fabric, I recommend the invisible decrease. In this technique, the front loop of the two stitches to be decreased is passed through, leaving three loops on the hook; yarn over and close the first two, then yarn over again and close the last two.
To increase, make two stitches in the same stitch.
The picot stitch is made by crocheting, in this case, 3 chains closed together at the base of the immediately preceding chain with a sl st.

CUSHION
In white and with a 3.5mm hook. For the front, chain 67.
From the third ch from the hook, crochet 65hdc and 2ch. Turn the work and continue crocheting hdc taking only the back loop. Make 43 rounds in total.
For the back, make 2 pieces identical to the previous one, 30 and 18 rounds respectively. This way, we will leave an opening to be able to remove the cover.

ASSEMBLY
Pin the cacti as shown in the picture.
Lightly stuff piece 1 of cactus 2 before sewing, and do not completely sew the top part.

Secure the rest of the pieces and, using the tapestry needle, sew them to the cushion.

Place the back part over the cushion and sew around with sc using white yarn and a 3.5mm crochet hook.

For the edge, start with light green yarn. Make 3ch, 1picot, 3ch, 1sl st skipping 2 stitches, repeat successively until the round is complete.
In dark green, repeat the previous sequence, making the sl st in the first unworked stitch of the previous round.

Insert the stuffing and optionally you can add a zipper or small buttons to close it completely.
