FINAL RESULT

PATTERN:
Cast on 85 stitches and work 10 rows of garter stitch. Continue with stockinette stitch, changing color each row. After 9 cm, return to 6 rows of garter stitch.
Then, start with the green color in stockinette stitch. Every 17 stitches, knit 2 together on every right-side row. After 9 cm, bind off all stitches.
Sew the seam, placing it at the back, and gather the top part until it is closed.
Pick up 16 stitches from each side and make the first one as follows: Work 12 rows in garter stitch. In the next row, decrease 1 stitch at the beginning and at the end, then 1 more stitch, then 2-2 (all on both sides), and the last 4 stitches.
For the earflaps, crochet two rows of chain stitch to give them more body, and make two 25 cm braids to tie the hat.
Finally, make a pompom and sew it to the top of the hat.
