STITCHES USED:

Stockinette stitch and 1x1 rib stitch and crochet slip stitch.

PATTERN

Front

Cast on 68 sts. Work 6 rws of 1x1 rib stitch. In stockinette stitch, make stripes of 6 rws each. Make 10 stripes until the raglan begins (see photo) 29 cm from the beginning.

Raglan

Decrease 1 st on each side 7 times and then decrease 2 sts together 7 times on both sides.

When starting the raglan, continue entirely in white until the end, without making stripes.

At 37 cm from the beginning, shape the neck by first binding off the 8 central sts, then 3 sts, 1 st, 1 st, 1 st, 1 st, coinciding with the end of the raglan.

First finish one side and then the other, after binding off the 8 central sts.

Back

Cast on 68 sts. Work ribbing, stripes, and length measurements the same as the front. The only difference is that there is no neck shaping. Bind off all sts at once. Then finish the raglan.

Sleeve

Cast on 32 sts. Work 6 rws of 1x1 rib stitch. In the next rw, increase 4 sts evenly. Along the sleeve up to the armhole (24 cm), increase 8 sts evenly on each side (approximately every 6 rws).

Raglan

Decrease 17 sts on each side, 1 by 1 at the beginning of each rw. Then bind off all remaining sts.

ASSEMBLY

Sew the side seams and the sleeve seams. Sew the sleeves to the body, leaving the front opening on the left side unsewn. For this opening on the body side (not the sleeve side) and with N°4 needles, pick up the necessary stitches to make the buttonholes (only 4 rws).

On the sleeve side, work 2 rws of crochet slip stitch. This is where the buttons will be placed.
