HOW TO MAKE THE HOODED SWEATER?
FRONT
Cast on 80 sts, work 8 rows of elastic st (1-1). In the next row, increase 19 sts evenly. Continue in stockinette stitch until 59 rows are worked (approximately 18 cm from the beginning).
Start the points with the other cotton (Rubi Batik). Work 1 st, the next 15 sts with color 020. Pass the Batik strand to the back and work 1 st, continuing this way until the end of the row. Repeat the stitches in the same way on the wrong side row.
Keep in mind that when passing the strand from one point to the other behind, it must be just right, neither too tight nor too loose (it's tricky).
In the following rows, on the right side of the work, form the point by increasing 1 st before and after the existing stitch. On the wrong side rows, repeat without increasing (the chart can help).
When the design of all points meets, discontinue color 020 and continue only with Batik.
ARMHOLE AND RAGLAN
Decrease on both sides, first 4 sts, then 17 times 2 sts, then 4 times 1 st, and bind off the remaining stitches.
BACK
Cast on 80 sts, work 8 rows of elastic stitch and the same increases as the front, the same number of rows and the points in the same way.
ARMHOLE AND RAGLAN
Decrease on both sides 2 sts, then 23 times 1 st, and bind off all stitches.
SLEEVE
Cast on 42 sts. Work 10 rows of elastic stitch, increase 10 sts in the row after the elastic stitch, and along the sleeve, distribute the 7 sts on both sides. The sleeve measures 28 cm up to the armhole.
At 61 rows from the beginning, start the points.
ARMHOLE AND RAGLAN
Decrease 2 sts and 22 times 1 st. Bind off the remaining sts.
HOOD
Cast on 150 sts, work 8 rows of elastic stitch, in the next row increase 12 sts evenly. At 37 rows (approximately 13 cm), divide into 2 parts, finish one and then the other.
Decrease 6 sts 1 by 1, then 2 sts followed by 4 sts 1 by 1. Then 4 sts at once and 6 sts at once. Then bind off the remaining stitches.
Take the other stitches and do the same.
Then these 2 parts are sewn together, this will be the back of the hood.
ASSEMBLY
Sew the sides and sleeve seams, fit them into the raglan openings. The hood, with the back seam already sewn, is fitted into the neck opening.
Finally, on the wrong side of the work, secure the strands running from point to point with a sewing needle and fine thread in the color of the vest.
