We knew you were waiting for this pattern! We showed you this cardigan by Pearl Knitter a while ago in Tricotar en casa magazine, and now you can find the pattern here completely free. An ideal garment for spring that shines with its own light thanks to our Rubí Silver Moon yarn. Do you dare to knit it?
MATERIALS
Rubí Silver Moon. 3 balls (color 004)
Needles: No. 3.5 for the ribbing and No. 9 for the body.

HOW TO KNIT THE BAGGY CARDIGAN?
*Difficulty: intermediate.
Note: A garment knitted in one piece, with rib stitch and snail stitch. Ideal for spring and cool summer nights. Please note that this is a very flexible garment, measurements are taken by laying it flat on a horizontal surface. When you knit the garment and wear it, that's when you see the drape of Rubí Silver Moon in all its splendor.
Measurements: 110 cm from cuff to cuff. Cuff width 16 cm
ABBREVIATIONS
K: knit stitch
ES: selvedge stitch, slip the first stitch of each right-side row (except for R1) and knit the last stitch of each row.
P: purl stitch
YO: yarn over
K2tog: knit 2 together. Inc: increase.
R: row.
St: stitch
*_*: repeat what is between asterisks. Drop 2 YOs, slip 1 st to the right needle, repeat 4 more times. When you have 5 slipped stitches on the right needle, you must slip them back to the left needle to knit them all together as follows: P1/K1/P1/K1/P1
Gauge Swatch:
Cast on 22 stitches on No. 3.5 needles.
Knit 12 rows in 1x1 rib stitch.
R13: make 20 increases, for a total of 42 sts. Knit in knit stitch. R14: Change to No. 9 needles. Purl. 1ES /40P/1K (total 42 sts).
R15: 1ES/40P/1K
R16: 1ES/ 1P/2YO/1P/2YO/1P/2YO/.../1K
After each purl stitch, yarn over 2 times until the end of the row. R17: 1ES/*_*/ rep *_* until the end, ending with 1K.
Repeat these 4 rows R14, R15, R16, and R17.
Rep 1: R18, R19, R20, and R21
Rep 2: R22, R23, R24, and R25
R27: Change to No. 3.5 needles, purl, making 20 decreases until 22 sts remain.
R28: Purl
R29: 1x1 rib stitch until R40
R41: Bind off stitches as appropriate.
R26: knit in P, making 2 decreases (at the beginning and at the end of the row)
R27: change to No. 3.5 needles, knit in P, making 20 decreases until 22 sts remain.
R28: knit in P.
R29: knit 1x1 rib stitch until R40
R41: bind off stitches as appropriate.
STEP BY STEP
STEP 1 – 1x1 Rib Stitch (beginning, first cuff)
Cast on 52 stitches on No. 3.5 needles.
Knit 26 rows in 1x1 Rib Stitch (R1 to R26) Follow the same instructions as in the swatch.
STEP 2:
R27: We make the increases, 50 in total. We will have 102 stitches in total at the end.
STEP 3: Introduction to Snail Stitch and repetitions.
R28: R14 of the swatch. Change to No. 9 needles and knit in PR. R29 = R15 of the swatch.
R30 = R16 of the swatch
R31 = R17 of the swatch
Repeat these 4 rows (28, 29, 30, and 31) until R95.

What do you need for sewing?
Tapestry needle, scissors, the ends you've left for finishing, and pins.
How to sew?
This garment only needs "x" cm sewn, from the edge of each cuff about 26 cm. With the help of pins, mark 26 cm on each side, using the tapestry needle and guiding yourself by the selvedge stitches, sew until you reach the desired height. Repeat on the other side.
