Crochet bodice dress

MATERIALS

To make the dress with a crochet bodice, we will use Rubí Natural Batik (VHA05) color 01 (2 skeins); crochet hook No. 2; sewing needle; white thread; and 1 1/4 m of white fabric (if double width).

PATTERN

To make the bodice, make 20 chains and work in double crochet back and forth without going through the bottom until you have 20 rows in total. When passing through the top and in all rows, increase 3 stitches in the upper center.

For the last row and finishing, make 3 chains and 2 double crochets to create small points (see detail in the photos above).

We make the other part of the bodice exactly the same way.

Then, we make 25 chains and work 2 rows of double crochet into them, then we start with the openwork part, which consists of 3 chains, 1 double crochet to the end of the strip, which is 8 cm wide and 72 cm long (depending on each person's circumference). We will finish this strip as it began with 2 rows of double crochet. The 2 cups are adapted to the strip, separated as preferred by each person.

On the other side of the strip, sew the fabric, gathering it a little and placing the seam at the back.

Make 4 braids of 45 cm - 2 for tying at the neck and another 2 for the back closure (see photo).
