FINAL RESULT

PATTERN:
The pattern is crocheted in the round, which means we will not have to turn the work at any point. You can place a stitch marker at the beginning of the round to know which is the first stitch.
At the beginning of each round, we will chain 3 or make a false double crochet; in both cases, it counts as the first stitch of the next round. We will close each round with a slip stitch.

Round 1: Make a magic ring with 12 double crochets (note that the first 3 chains count as the first double crochet), slip stitch.
Round 2: Chain 3 or make a false double crochet (this will always count as the first stitch of the round), 1 double crochet in the next double crochet of the previous round, chain 2 and skip one double crochet. Repeat the sequence until the end of the round, slip stitch.
Round 3: Chain 3 or make a false double crochet, 1 double crochet increase in the next double crochet of the previous round, chain 2, repeat the sequence until the end of the round. From this point on, it will be easier to follow chart 1 of the project, which indicates how to crochet the points of the stars; only one point is shown, and all you have to do is repeat the sequence.
Up to round 13, we decrease the points of the small star and increase the large star.
From round 14, between the stars, we form squares with 1 double crochet, 1 chain. For the first two rounds, refer to chart 2, and in the following rounds, we will crochet 1 double crochet, 1 chain until we have a total of seven squares and our star point has only one stitch. We have now crocheted the base of our bag.
From this round, we crochet the body of the bag.
Round 19: Chain 3, which replaces our first double crochet, chain 1 (which replaces the next double crochet of the previous round). Repeat the sequence until the end of the round.
Round 20: Chain 3 or make a false double crochet, and crochet one double crochet for each single crochet or chain of the previous round. At the end of the round, you will have 158 double crochets.
Rounds 21, 22, 23: Crochet round 19.
Round 24: Crochet round 20.
Repeat rounds 21 to 24 five times.
Now we will crochet the handles.

R1 Handles: Chain 3 or make a false double crochet, 1 double crochet in the next 20 double crochets. Chain 100 (which will be our first handle) and skip 39 double crochets. From the 40th stitch, crochet 1 double crochet for each double crochet in the next 40 stitches. Chain 100 (to form the second handle), skip 39 double crochets again, and crochet 20 double crochets, which are the remaining stitches until the end of the round. Close with a slip stitch.
R2 and 3 of the handles: Chain 3 or make a false double crochet, and crochet one double crochet for each double crochet and chain of the previous round.
Close with a slip stitch.
Fasten off and weave in the ends.
