NOTES:
– Flower stitch video
– You can use a single contrast color or several colors.
– When changing colors, you do not need to cut the yarn that you are not currently working with. Before making the first stitch of the odd rows, guide that yarn with the other one, as shown in the video. This way it gets caught on the edge.
PATTERN
With the Main color, cast on 3 stitches. Knit 6 rows in garter stitch. Then turn the work 90º and pick up 3 stitches. Turn 90º again and pick up the 3 stitches from the cast-on: a total of 9 stitches.

Repeat rows 15 to 26 as many times as necessary to achieve the desired length of the shawl.
After the last repeat of row 26, and with the contrast color, cast off using the Elastic bind off method: Knit one stitch, knit the second stitch and slip these two stitches to the left needle. Now knit them together through the back loop.
One stitch remains on the right needle. Knit the next stitch and slip them to the left needle. Knit them together again through the back loop. Repeat this until all stitches are bound off.
